In a Magento store connected to Comarch ERP Optima, the invoice is created in Optima and sent from there to KSeF, the Polish national e-invoicing system. SISL Optima Connector makes sure Optima has complete order data and that the store knows which document was issued.
KSeF accepts the invoice from the system that issues it. With Magento + Optima that system is Optima: that is where accounting works, where numbering lives and where Comarch's KSeF module runs.
The integration's job is to make sure nothing has to be retyped in Optima: buyer details (including the tax ID), order lines and amounts arrive correctly, and the store gets the issued document back.
Sending invoices to KSeF from both the store and Optima invites duplicates and corrections, so the connector does not do it and will not.

When an operator issues an invoice in Optima for a store order, Magento creates the matching Invoice.

Most of the work is on the Optima side and concerns its configuration, not the store.
1. Optima: a current Optima version with the KSeF module, KSeF permissions and tokens for the company, document numbering. A Comarch partner or your accountant helps here.
2. Store data: we check that Magento orders carry everything the invoice needs (tax ID, name, address, VAT rates, discounts, shipping) and reach Optima without manual fixes.
3. Feedback: the document number (and the KSeF number where Optima provides it) goes back to the Magento order, so customer service sees it without opening the ERP.
No. Comarch Optima sends invoices to KSeF. The connector moves data between the store and Optima.
From 1 Feb 2026 for the largest taxpayers and from 1 Apr 2026 for everyone else. Until 31 Dec 2026, companies with sales up to PLN 10k gross per month may still invoice outside KSeF. Current dates: ksef.podatki.gov.pl.
Then cloud Optima handles KSeF, and we confirm the store integration scope after a technical call, because it depends on data access.
